GVR confirms dates for 2010
Green Valley Recreation (GVR) has now confirmed regularly scheduled playing days for next year. They have reserved our present facilities at Desert Hills every Monday (8:00 am to 11:00 am) and every Friday (8:00 am to 11:00 am) for the exclusive use of our club. A third weekly playing day is being negotiated.

Mini-tournament v's Quail Creek TTC February 18.2009
Once again the mini-tournament against Quail Creek TTC provided some close and exciting games, but in the end the visitors proved to be too strong. Quail Creek fielded 5 club members (Jeff, Jerry, Bob, Lew & Heinz) and recruited Jim Petrie to bolster their team. It was decided that the results from these 6 players, head-to-head with 6 players from Green Valley (Len Forss, Dave Youngren, Len Bluma, Jolene Roesler, Chris Dexter & Ken Holman) would decide the result. Quail Creek prevailed 21 games to 15 games. Overall there were 54 matches played with Quail Creek winning 38 matches.
Thanks to Claudia McLean who kept the tables full and recorded the results.

Mini-tournament v's Sierra Vista TTC February 11.2009
Our thanks to the members of the Sierra Vista Table Tennis Club who made the trip to participate in an extremely enjoyable afternoon of table tennis. A lot of games were played! Of the total of 85 matches played Sierra Vista won 44 to claim a well deserved victory. Our thanks also to Jeff Morrison, from the Quail Creek Table Tennis Club & Claudia McLean for keeping the tables full and recording the results.

Thanks to Jeff, Jerry, Art & Bob from the Quail Creek Table Tennis Club who made for an enjoyable afternoon of table tennis. A total of 40 matches were played with Quail Creek prevailing with 27 wins. Congratulations.

Sierra Vista Senior Games January 10.2009
Four members of the Green Valley Table Tennis Club competed in  8 table tennis events at the Sierra Vista Senior Games. In their respective age groups they brought home 8 gold medals!
